I was once asked this question as a creative exercise: If you were a color, what color would you be? Once you determine that, describe yourself. Here is the result:I am lavender – not harmful to the eye. I don’t have a glare but always noticeable in my soft presence. My scent lingers around as the aroma of vibrant laughter and knowledge, beauty and grace. My color can be seen in the majesty of the mountains, in the crest of the waves and as the sun rises and sets. In the flowers of the field, the paintings on the walls, and the candles on romantic nights. I am lavender – see me, notice me, I am here.
For your own creative writing exercise, if you were a color, which one would you be? Describe why in the comments below. I would love to hear from you.
